Chapter 7. Specter
Like BOF, Specter is a low-interaction honeypot that emulates a variety of services. It is the next logical honeypot for us to examine because it introduces a variety of features and functionality that honeypots can support beyond those we saw for BOF. These additional features extend the capabilities of honeypots in detection, alerting, and information gathering. Unlike BOF, Specter is a honeypot designed for the enterprise environment.
