The next three chapters discuss recording techniques that can be utilized to produce higher-quality projects in a home studio. Many of these techniques are subjective to the project, the listener, and the circumstance. Basically, there are a lot of rules, and all of them can be broken. The key to breaking the rules is understanding what you are breaking, why you are doing it, and how it might damage the project or equipment that you are working with.
