About the Author

Dwight Spivey (Mobile, Alabama) has been a technical author and editor for nearly a decade, but has been a bona fide technophile for close to three of them. He’s the author of How to Do Everything Pages, Keynote & Numbers (McGraw-Hill, 2014), OS X Mavericks Portable Genius (Wiley, 2013), and many more books covering the tech gamut. His technology experience is extensive, consisting of OS X, iOS, Android, Linux, and Windows operating systems in general; desktop publishing software; laser printers and drivers; color and color management; and networking. His love of tech led him to discover the smart home and the wizardry behind what makes them tick, and Home Automation For Dummies was the fruit borne thereof.
