Part 4: Bring In the Candidate

You’ve found a candidate that you and your hiring team like, and you’re ready to check references and make the offer.

Be prepared to speed through this part of the hiring process. The less time you take to check references and make an offer, the more likely the candidate is to agree to your offer. The faster the candidate agrees, the sooner he or she can start. But you want to do as thorough a job on reference checking as possible, even in a short period of time. So how do you do this?
