Start Them Strong

NEW EMPLOYEES are usually eager, willing, and ready to get into their new jobs and get going. You should therefore bury them in work from the first morning. Give new employees lots to do. Work overload makes the job challenging and exciting.

Don’t give your new hires ninety days to settle in and feel their way around the company. Pile the work on right from the beginning and give them plenty of feedback and help. Give them lots of opportunity for discussion and asking questions.
