Foreword
The first time that I knew ReplayTV was something special was a morning in January 1999. I was at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and this particular morning I had to get up really early. I was meeting a TV crew from Good Morning America at 5 a.m. for a live demo of ReplayTV. This was a new experience for me then, although it did become very common over the next few years.
CES is huge, with more than 100,000 exhibitors, dealers, industry analysts, reporters, and enthusiasts converging in Las Vegas to see what’s going to be hot.
