Overview
It’s a clear case of apples and oranges. Drawing comparisons between the various entries in the audio IED category is difficult because the products differ so greatly in what they can do and how they can accomplish their diverse design goals.
To be practical (and to get this book published in a timely fashion), it was necessary to look at only a subset of the growing pool of audio IEDs. The book focuses on those IEDs that hold the greatest promise, and on those few that have achieved some slight mind share or market share advantage in this fledgling business.
