In contrast to the many professional texts available on a range of microwave radar topics, only one previous text has been exclusively devoted to the subject of high frequency (HF) over-the-horizon (OTH) radar. The text entitled Fundamentals of Over-the-Horizon Radar by A. A. Kolosov et al. was originally published in Russian (Radio i Svyaz, 1984) and subsequently translated into English by W. F. Barton (Artech House, Norwood, MA, 1987).
