Hey, you have to start somewhere. This is the place to find out what HDR is, how it differs from traditional photography, and what you need to get started.
Chapter 1 gets you started. You'll see HDR in action and look at several examples of "before and after" photos to see why there's such a fuss over HDR. I sneak in some macro-level HDR workflow on you, too. Chapter 2 is where you find out what you need to have in terms of photography gear (cameras, lenses, tripods, levels, plus a lot of other stuff), what each item brings to HDR, and why you should consider buying it. Chapter 3, being the third chapter, is the chapter that brings the software side of HDR into focus. I walk you through the different types of software that enable you to create HDR images on your computer and help you edit or manage them. I also review some HDR-specific applications.
