Cisco uBR 924 Availability Calculations

The Cisco uBR 924 is a simple cable router (often called a cable modem) and is called customer premises equipment (CPE). Cable routers are generally used to connect household networks to the Internet. This particular router includes a cable port, two telephone ports, and four Ethernet ports. This enables a WAN connection to the Internet over the cable port. The household data networking is serviced by the four Ethernet ports. The two telephone ports make it possible for two normal household telephones (or fax machines, modems, and so on) to be connected and used over the cable network.
