Part Three Conclusion

As mentioned, the key message of this book is that increased knowledge about and understanding of the potential added value of private banks leads to higher levels of value-adding services. This also applies to credit.

In this part on credit we shared the rationale and purposes of borrowing, we highlighted the risks involved in borrowing, and we shared some insight into how banks approach and manage credit. Armed with basic but sufficient credit knowledge, you will be in a much better position to guide the relationship into high value-adding territory.
