Chapter 14. Becoming a game maker

When you started this book, you were a Scratch novice. But look at you! You have five games under your belt, and you probably have dozens of ideas churning in your brain. You’ve also learned some of the basic building blocks of computer science, such as conditional statements, variables, loops, and Booleans, which means you’re ready to branch out into other coding languages, too.

Now that you’re officially a game maker, you’re ready to dive into the greater Scratch community. This chapter will help you get your bearings as you set off to design your own games.
