The Big Time in Small Caps

BERNAY BOX, by his own account, is not a particularly patient man. He met the woman who became his wife in the first or second week of his freshman year at Baylor University and by April, they had eloped. They had their first child fourteen months later. “I have a very clear understanding of who I am,” says Box, “and I just like to get stuff done.”

Which he does, and quite well, but not because he hurries things along. Box might be the type to move quickly in some areas of his life, but when it comes to investing, he's the soul of patience, and that, he says, is his edge.

Box, forty-five, runs Bonanza Capital in Dallas and he looks for the small-cap stock that will at least double, if not soar fourfold ...
