Identify Commonly Used IT Terms and Technologies

A modern Windows computer network will consist of Windows client operating systems (such as Windows Server 2008) and domain controllers (DCs). A domain controller is a Windows server that contains the Active Directory (AD) database. The AD database contains user account information, passwords, groups, and computer accounts for computers that have joined the domain. Computers that have joined the AD domain can be centrally managed by the AD domain administrator.
