ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sean P. Murphy, FACHE, CPHIMS, CISSP-ISSMP, CIPP/IT, is currently a vice president at Leidos in the Health Solutions Group and serves as the organization’s health information privacy and security officer. He is a healthcare information security expert, with nearly 20 years of experience in the field, serving at all levels of healthcare from the hospital to an international integrated delivery system. Before joining Leidos, he was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Medical Service Corps.
