PREFACE

I’ve tried to write a book about my unbelievable experiences in the executive search business for a number of years. It still amazes me that the role of top-flight executive search professionals has not been fully understood by the business world and its advisors. My hope is that this book will throw some clarity on what the business is all about.

I feel particularly fortunate to have decided to go into this business when I was in my thirties.
