Symmetry and Lines

Architectural photography is an exacting discipline that appeals to the orderly photographer. The natural symmetry found in architecture and the lines that dominate the frame create powerful and dramatic subject matter. In addition to paying attention to exposure and processing, care must be taken to level the camera correctly, align subjects, and find the best place to locate the camera. For folks who like to keep things neat and organized, architectural photography is a very gratifying endeavor.
