2.1  Evaluating the studio for HD Radio operation

The studio facility is the point of entry for all audio into the transmission system of practically any radio station. This is where the programming is created and audio from various sources comes together to form the presentation to the public. There are many things to consider for the studio facility of an HD Radio station.

First and foremost, what condition is your present facility in? Contrary to what you may have been told, if your facility uses equipment of fairly recent vintage, you may be able to use it successfully in your HD Radio operation.
