About the Authors

Jeffrey Pfeffer is the Thomas D. Dee II Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, where he has taught since 1979. He received his BS and MS from Carnegie-Mellon University and his PhD in business from Stanford. Pfeffer has served on the faculties at the University of Illinois, the University of California at Berkeley, and as a visiting professor at the Harvard Business School. He has taught executive seminars in 27 countries throughout the world. He serves on the board of directors of Aubidble Magic, Unicru, and SonoSite, as well as on numerous editorial boards of scholarly journals.
