The third step for configuring the dashboard is selecting the metrics that will be shown on the number widget for the Lambda function.
The metrics can be selected by selecting the AWS service name (Lambda), then selecting the metrics by the function name (Greeter), then selecting all of the metrics for that particular function.
The following screenshot shows the configuration of the metrics (Errors, Duration, Invocations, and Throttles) for the Greeter Lambda function that will be added to the number widget:
