Building SQL with Oracle Application Express

So far, this book has taught you that you can use the SQL*Plus command-line interface to execute any type of SQL statement, as well as special SQL*Plus commands like DESCRIBE. Oracle XE also provides several alternative, albeit less-functional, interfaces that you can use to code SQL. For example, Oracle Application Express provides a SQL command editor that is somewhat easier to use than SQL*Plus; the next chapter demonstrates how to use this tool. The following sections teach you how to get started with another of Oracle Application Express's SQL tools, a graphical query interface called the Query Builder.
