Using Integration Services Fixed Database Level Roles

Integration Services enables you to control access to SSIS packages by providing three fixed database-level roles: db_dtsadmin, db_dtsltduser, and db_dtsoperator. These are available in msdb database and can be applied to only the packages that are saved to the msdb database in SQL Server. The packages stored in MSDB storage area in Integration Services are saved in sysdtspackages90 table of the msdb database. The sysdtspackages90 table defines the access permissions for the packages in the readrole, writerole, and ownersid columns of the table.
