Conclusion

In this chapter, you learned how to export data from Access and how to import and link it. You can compare the objects in your NiftyLionsChap13.mdb to those in the solution database NiftyLionsChap13End.mdb. One area I did not cover was how to export/import data to other notable database programs, particularly dBASE and Paradox. My sense is that in the current environment, most readers will not need to transfer data from or to this software.

Note, however, that in Access 2003, you can continue to export and import from these programs. The export and import of data from dBASE and Paradox are covered, with varying degrees of detail, in Access Help.
