How Form Controls Inherit Field Characteristics

Before I discuss any data-entry techniques, I want to focus on how controls in forms inherit field characteristics—including field name, data type, and other field properties—from the underlying table. This will give you a much better understanding of why the controls in forms look and act the way they do.
