Lack of trust and mutual respect

The following is a diagram depicting the fact that trust and mutual respect go hand in hand, and teams need this in order to operate efficiently:

Trust among teams is critical and is easily lost but won with difficulty. It is best if there is a good project manager who can facilitate communication between teams and help clarify issues that are bound to occur. Healthy teams will communicate openly when problems arise during feature work, and it is good to have retrospectives in place to help air out frustrations among team members and to build trust.
