Educating leadership on automation

A development team cannot assume that leadership understands what automation means and what areas are ripe for automation. It is best if a technology representative such as a CTO can help by being a proponent of automation and help to explain it to the executive leadership team. Someone such as a CTO can help be the agent of change to speak on behalf of developers, but regardless of who relays this information, the executive team must understand what automation is and what things are capable of being automated.
