Working with Azure Event Hub in the portal

The following screenshot shows a brand-new instance of Azure Event Hub:

As you can see, it contains some basic info such as metrics, metadata, and access to connection strings. Of course, this is a view of a namespace—we have not created any Event Hub yet. Before we do so, I would like to focus a little on what we have available now. On the left, you can find the SETTINGS section, which contains additional features:
