While Curtis Fentress is referring to architecture in the physical sense in the opening quote, we can apply his thinking to Web design as well. You’ve likely heard “The devil is in the details,” but Fentress emphasizes that details are crucial (and positive) to the storytelling of architecture. I couldn’t agree more; on the Web, implementing design involves a cacophony of details, and applying precious time to the appropriate details is what elevates your site to great design.
