4.3.6 Non-linear numerical analysis

For a general complex system with friction, to obtain an analytical solution is difficult. The transient analysis by using the numerical approach is a feasible approach to obtain a quantitative prediction.

For one-degree-of-freedom systems, the basic vibration phenomena are depicted in Section 4.2.
