Environmental Finance

Abstract

This chapter examines the emerging role of “Environmental Finance” to solve funding issues that may not be available to projects through conventional financing channels. Examples of these include some environmental projects where the focus is more on environmental and/or social-based outcomes than the profitability of the underlying project.
