12.6. EQ-I® AND MSCEIT® INTEGRATION

This section examines the relationship of the EQ-i® and MSCEIT® to each other as well as to other instruments. Knowledge of these relationships may assist the practitioner as he or she works with the two instruments. Table 12.5 shows some of the benefits that each instrument has when used for measuring ESI.

12.6.1. EQ-i® and MSCEIT® Combinations

An ESI assessment, such as the EQ-i® or MSCEIT®, can be viewed metaphorically as a method of making ESI psychometrically visible. That is, taking an assessment produces an ESI "score."
