6.8. CONCLUSION

The purpose of this chapter has been to provide the practitioner with knowledge about the systemic affect of stress on the human body in general and the brain's PFC in particular. The PFC is the executive center and chief executive officer of the brain. Anything that degrades the performance of the PFC affects all brain functions, including both cognitive and emotional intelligences.
