6.7. BEST PRACTICES FOR AVOIDING CATASTROPHIC LEADERSHIP FAILURE™

This section focuses on best practices for avoiding catastrophic leadership failure™, which include building capacity in the three key interdependent CLF factors: Stress Management Capacity™ (SMC), Cognitive Resiliency™ (CR), and Stress Resilient EI™ (SREI™). These factors and their justification as key to CLF have been discussed in detail above. CLF is not a single event or instant, but is a system of interdependent components operating within a larger system. The CLF factors should be addressed across at least three layers of system complexity: leader, team, and organization.
