Building an army of devices
Abstract
In this chapter, the power of hacking with Beagles is greatly expanded using IEEE 802.15.4 networking. IEEE 802.15.4 and its mesh networking extension known as ZigBee will be discussed in detail. Modem configuration instructions will be provided. A Python module that facilitates remote control via IEEE 802.15.4 is developed. Methods of saving power are provided. Extending the reach of a penetration test using gateways and routers is discussed. The chapter concludes with a penetration test utilizing multiple networked drones controlled from a distance.
