Part 2. Building user interfaces

Part 1 introduced you to the fundamentals of building and compiling your GWT application. This part of the book explores the user-interface components that you’ll use to create your GWT applications. We’ll begin with an introduction to GWT’s widgets and panels and then discuss event-handling and creating composite widgets. Next, we’ll explain how to use the Java-Script Native Interface to interact with JavaScript code external to the GWT application. This part of the book concludes by showing you how to wrap your GWT module as a reusable library for other GWT applications.
