You learned about view objects in this chapter. There are a number of different kinds of views—updatable views and read-only views, indexed and nonindexed views, local and distributed partitioned views, and so forth. You learned about the situations in which different types of views work best, you learned how to create and administer them, and you learned about some things to watch out for as you use them.
