Step 3: Create Frontline Connections

Once the executive's plan is in place, teach him or her that another way to reach his or her goals is by enhancing the “people power” in the organization. Organizations that flourish are those that develop their employees' skill sets, thought processes, behaviors, accountability, and confidence. In order for the executives in your organization to invest in the development of their frontline managers and employees, they must see them as their most valuable resource and create a connection with them. As a coach and trainer, you have the responsibility of helping executives appreciate how valuable their people are and showing them how to maintain, improve, and develop these relationships.
