Okay, it’s time to talk about sound. Listen up. This is a big topic and an important one. Even in the days of silent pictures, there was sound. Someone played the organ or piano offstage, in the dark, giving life, emotion, energy, and flow to quiet images. These guys could be called the first film sound composers.
