AC (alternating current) An electric current that changes direction in a circuit. For conventional Data Centers, power is delivered from the utility power in alternating current and converted multiple times between AC and DC (direct current) formats.
ADN (Application Delivery Network) A network of distributed application nodes, often operated by a third party, to optimize the delivery of application traffic to a distributed client base.
affinity laws Laws illustrating relative variables in pump or fan performance, such as airflow, pressure, speed, and power.
