Abstract
Consumers, companies, and legislators are beginning to recognize both the internal and external value of good corporate citizenship and the intelligent stewardship of finite resources. The linear “take-make-consume-dispose” model that has been followed since the industrial revolution is beginning to be perceived as problematical because of the limited availability of resources.
