PLACING AN INTERNATIONAL CALL

If your company does business with customers outside of the United States, identify and keep a list of the individuals in your company who speak other languages. Their skills may be invaluable as you communicate with customers in or from a foreign country.

To place most international station-to-station calls, dial the following:

  • The international access code (011)
  • The country code
  • The city code
  • The local phone number

Allow at least 45 seconds after dialing your international call for ringing to begin.

Below is a list of country and city (routing) codes. Contact your long distance company if you have difficulty placing a long distance call.
