Henry R. “Hank” Nothhaft is a highly successful serial entrepreneur and tireless advocate of smart innovation policies in Washington, D.C. During his thirty-five-year career leading high-tech start-ups, Nothhaft participated in some of the key technology breakthroughs of the postwar era—from the first public e-mail and data networks (Telenet) and nationwide Internet service providers (Concentric Network) to the creation of the mobile Internet and the first smartphone with social networking capability (Danger).
