Averse to the limitations of specialization, Base is free from creative and geographical restrictions. Across six cities in five countries, and with five departments, Base has the ability to operate both independently and collectively, with the emphasis on integrated communication. College friends Thierry Brunfaut, Juliette Cavenaile and Dimitri Jeurissen started the studio in Brussels after graduating in 1993. Marc Panero joined in 1996, opening their second office in Barcelona, with Madrid following soon afterwards.
