When deciding what type of technology to use for a new web application, it doesn’t always make sense to go with the latest Ajax technology. Building web applications as traditional web pages has the advantage of simplicity and mature infrastructure. However, you may find that some tasks with a traditional web application would benefit from an Ajax utility.
