10. Database Editor Application

When deciding what type of technology to use for a new web application, it doesn’t always make sense to go with the latest Ajax technology. Building web applications as traditional web pages has the advantage of simplicity and mature infrastructure. However, you may find that some tasks with a traditional web application would benefit from an Ajax utility. One common example is a web site administration tool that allows you to manage your application resources. In this chapter we will build the Database Editor application that gives fast access to web application data to facilitate its management.
