Appendix A. Backing Up Google Apps

I trust a lot of my digital life to Google, but I don’t trust blindly. I fully understand that everything mechanical can fail, which includes hard drives, networks, and entire systems. Even though Google is a gigantic company full of brilliant people, mistakes and failures can still happen. It’s best to be prepared. I’m not saying don’t use Google Apps—after all I’m writing a book on the subject, and I rely on Google Apps every single day—but I am saying that you should definitely have a backup strategy in place.
