Part Six. All Reports: Content

One of the most important elements of any web site is the content on that site. And content optimization is no easy task. It requires an understanding of what content draws users and how they interact with that content.

To truly understand how content optimization affects your site, however, you need some metrics to tell you how each aspect of the content performs. Google provides some of the most commonly used metrics, such as Top Content and a Site Overlay that lets you see how each link on your site performs.

This section of the book also contains additional reports that illustrate important content metrics. In the pages that follow, we walk you through each of the content reports and tell you how to use them to improve your web site.
