The Bottom Line

I’ve been using Google Spreadsheets since its launch, and I’ve been pleased to see how the application has developed over the years. What started as a fairly bare-bones spreadsheet (with no charting function!) has evolved into a sophisticated alternative to Microsoft Excel. That sophistication is only enhanced by the addition of the plug-in gadgets, which promise to add just about any feature you can think of to the core Google Spreadsheets feature set.
