The Bottom Line

Although I don’t particularly like the lack of folders, I grudgingly admit that Google has created a pretty good Web-based email service with Gmail. I particularly like the huge storage capability, which just encourages my pack-rattish tendencies. Gmail is a worthy competitor to the more established Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail services.
