You can use the USB cable that came with your Nexus 7 to transfer files to and from your Windows PC or Macintosh computer.

Connecting to a Windows PC via USB

You can use a USB cable to connect your Nexus 7 to a Windows computer and transfer music, videos, pictures, documents, and other files between them. This connection uses Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). Windows Vista, Windows 7, and later support MTP. Windows XP supports MTP only if Windows Media Player 10 or later is installed. Pre-XP versions of Windows may not recognize the Nexus 7.
