Over the past few years, social media has enabled people to reach out to old friends and build new communities, but there has been something missing. Unless people are able to “see” the face behind the tweet, comment, or post, we are limited in how much we can connect.

Through Hangouts we can not only connect in private groups, but also choose to broadcast content to the world through our own, free YouTube channels. As such, we can now turn a social presence into something that enables us to build trust, authority, and reputation through simply being ourselves.
